In 2004, the first location of Five Star Standard HRM Training Center, Inc. inside Room 202 in PRB Bldg., Imus, Cavite

Five Star Hotel Standard HRM Training Center, Inc., is a private stock corporation founded in April 2004. Registered in Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) registered, FSSC was born out of compassion for the out-of-school youths; to those who were not able to continue their studies due to financial incapability, and to those who were still confused on what course they would have taken, to help them discover themselves of who they really are, and bringing out their best by mentoring them. The founders, headed by Mr. Alejandro C. Bautista, occupied one (1) 40-50 square meter – room and was first established a training center at Room 202 PRB Bldg. in Imus, Cavite.

In line with this, Mr. Bautista registered to TESDA the pioneer program, “Waitering and Bartending Course” at a very low training fee.  This particular program was approved by TESDA under No Training Regulation (NTR) Certificate No. 0404AA010233.  Two years later, this particular program was promulgated and re-aligned into separate certificates as mandated by TESDA under WTR (With Training Regulation) registration namely:

Subsequently, additional short-term courses/programs were offered, as follows:

Five Star Hotel Standard HRM Training Center, Inc. has been specializing in the Hospitality and Tourism sector since 2004.  It is equipped with complete facilities such as tools and equipment, kitchen, bar and dining, and housekeeping laboratories to conduct actual one-on-one intensified training. In 2009, the founders felt the need to offer the Two-Year Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM) course in semestral class for those who are at least High School graduates.  Before the end of the  4 semesters, they will be required to comply with the Practicum/On-the -Job Training to put into practice in a real world the knowledge, skills, and attitude they’ve acquired from this school and have even greater experience in the hotel and restaurant industry.

In 2008, this training center was finally amended into a non-stock, non-profit corporation with its amended name, Five Star Standard College, Inc. and trade name, Five Star Standard College (FSSC) in order to reach out to students who are underprivileged and financially challenged.


FSSC is located in 3rd Floor, Conrado Commercial Complex, Aguinaldo Highway, Niog, Bacoor City, Cavite.  It is just 15-20 minutes drive from Manila.  It’s parallel with Jollibee Niog and  7-Eleven Niog. With its long-term objectives of preserving excellence in the different aspects of life and the need that every graduate must be globally competitive, a K-12 compliant Senior High School Program has begun to operate in 2016.  The Management never ceases to continue the incessant expansion in various aspects due to high demands in providing a quality education and training especially to those earners who have low income and for the deserving youth of today.


FSSC’s philosophy “Your ladder to global success” reminds everyone that success would be felt in concrete and lasting terms if there is a quality education and values formation in accordance with biblical principles linking with home and community.
